SunKiSS Gardens is a small, family-run market garden based in Bloomington, MN. We offer potted herbs, heirloom vegetable starts, and fresh-cut and dried herbs, depending on the season. We're also working to establish fruit production.
Happy, Herby Holidays (Dec '09)
Our winter products made their debut at Valley Natural Foods in December. We also got set up to sell on-line via Local Harvest and Local Dirt (local pickup only; no shipping). Our December newsletter contains some tips for growing herbs indoors.
Good Enough for the Gov (Aug '09)
We were honored to provide herbs for a fundraising event at the Governor's Residence. The historic preservation fundraiser showcased Minnesota grown products, and it was a thrill for us to be a part of it. A special thanks to Chef Mary Jane Miller for her willingness to work with our small scale!

The Space Between (Mar '11)
We've reluctantly decided to continue our hiatus from herb growing for at least another year. We're focused on moving from our suburban location to some rural acreage where we have room to grow (both literally and figuratively)! Along with the logistics of buying, moving, and selling, we're working on business planning so we can get off to a new start on the right foot. Thanks for stopping by - we'll post again as soon as we have more news!

We're taking a break from potted herb production as we work through some growing pains! We hope to resume soon. If you have any special requests for spring 2011, please contact us. Otherwise, please check in again soon!

We offered some new potted herb combinations at Valley Natural Foods to welcome in the spring. We aren't participating in any farmers markets this season (except possibly the Bloomington Indoor Market around the holidays). If you'd like to buy something from us directly or inquire about special orders, please contact us! And check out our latest newsletter for more tidbits.
